Mobil
Mobil
MOBIL is “the world’s largest publicly traded international oil and gas company.” For my logo animation, I wanted to focus on its gas station chain through the use of a fuel gauge. It shows as empty and as it starts to fill up with a red bar, it quickly transforms into the iconic red “o” of the logo.

RipNDip
RIPNDIP is a Los-Angeles based clothing company known for being cheeky and playful. It is most well known for its cat character named Lord Nermal who is often portrayed in a shirt pocket who, unknown to the viewer, has his middle fingers up inside the pocket. The brand plays with loud bold designs and subtle provocative images (like Lord Nermal).
I wanted to play off of this unexpected “crudeness” in this logo animation by having this contrast between a clean professional aesthetic and Lord Nermal’s provocative behavior by imitating a shirt pocket using the “D”
from the logo.
