MOBIL is “the world’s largest publicly traded international oil and gas company.” For my logo animation, I wanted to focus on its gas station chain through the use of a fuel gauge. It shows as empty and as it starts to fill up with a red bar, it quickly transforms into the iconic red “o” of the logo.

Apple x Zedd, Maren Morris, BEAUZ "Make You Say" Music Video

It's been a HUGE dream of mine to work on a music video and I finally got to live it out. The amazing team at Apple came to Scholar with a challenge - to animate ontop of a live-action 3 and a half video (directed by Colin Read) for Zedd, Marren Morris, and BEAUZ's new song "Make You Say" solely on FlipaClip on iPad. I had the incredible opportunity to lead it as well as help design and try out a little bit of cell animation alongside CD Will Johnson and AD Danni Fisher-Shin.
From concepting, creating style frames, and animating full out scenes, the team solely used FlipaClip, a frame by frame animation app on iPad. A lot of love and care was put into this project by the whole team at every step of the way to bring this wild thing to life. I learned a ton leading this project with an amazing team and took on the role of a director for a period of time.
